In the middle of the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors national parks, in North Yorkshire, is the charming village of Burneston. Despite being in a rural area, the village offers several services, including a local post office, The Woodman Inn tavern and restaurant, and a local church. Visit The Falcons of Thorp Perrow for a hands-on experience or take a stroll through the Arboretum and Bird of Prey & Mammal Centre in Thorpe Perrow. Traveling west will take you to Nidderdale aonb and travelling east will take you to Howardian Hills aonb. Masham is a well-liked tourist destination that is great for walks through the Marfield Wetlands, which follow the River Ure. Traveling south will take you to The Himalayan Garden & Sculpture Park, a delightful spot for an afternoon stroll and picnic.

.The pheasant in âKIRKLINGTONâ is very nice and we had a very nice 4 nights there..plenty to do within an hour or less drive in all directions..The hosts are very nice people who run the local village pub which has a very nice atmosphere and nice people in there.. The Alpacas in the next field are very friendly and amusing also..All in All the place was spot on..we will be back

Very clean. There was a welcome pack for us on arrival including bread, milk, eggs, jam and butter which was unexpected but very welcome. The property was in a good central area to get to places of interest. The downside was that there wasn't a shop in the village.

The owners are lovely, the pub is cosy and the food is decent too. Itâs quiet but perfect for exploring this part of Yorkshire. Thanks for a lovely stay.
